Fish, swim & relax

Spend your days relaxing at one of the many beaches in Broome. There’s plenty to do around the water in Broome, including fishing, swimming and simply relaxing.

Fishing

The Kimberley and North West of Western Australia is renowned for the unreal fishing. Broome offers fantastic fishing including shore fishing, jetty and rock fishing and boating. Fishing charters are available departing from Broome.

Beach fishing

Shore fishing in Broome is popular amongst locals. Not much is needed to catch a feed of fish from the beaches and rocks. Some popular spots to fish include Gantheaume Point, Cable Beach, Entrance Point and town beach.

Jetty Fishing

The local jetty at Entrance Point is open to fishing all year round and offers deep water fishing. Recently upgrades occurred on the Jetty. Simply pack a rod and walk onto the footpath to enjoy an afternoon of fishing.

Boat Fishing

Broome is known for the deep sea fishing and boat fishing. Entrance Point has four boat ramps to choose from. town beach also has a boat ramp and Gantheaume Point offers the perfect spot for a beach launch.
